On 11 April 2019, the General Directorate of the National Health System (NHS) and Pharmacy issued a document entitled “Report (\u2026) on the public reimbursement of medicines with an express resolution of non-inclusion in the pharmaceutical provision of the NHS” concluding that the medicinal products that have obtained an express resolution of non-reimbursement are medicinal products that are not included in the pharmaceutical service of the NHS and therefore are not included in the common portfolio of services of the NHS. By virtue of this, the Report indicates that the Autonomous Communities and the managing entities cannot include in their portfolio of services, and therefore cannot reimburse from public funds, medicines with an express resolution of no reimbursement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our opinion is that this report is null and void for various reasons. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At this breakfast, Llu\u00eds Alcover will address this issue, which continues to generate great concern in many settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
