Faus & Moliner participates at the III Spanish Forum on ICC Arbitration

The III Spanish Forum on ICC Arbitration has been organized by The International Centre for Arbitration, Mediation and Negotiation (CIAMEN) of the University Institute of European Studies of the University CEU San Pablo and the Spanish Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).

Faus & Moliner has participated in the session on how can the companies benefit from the privacy of the arbitration process and preserve their specific interests with regard to confidentiality in arbitration.

In his speech, Jordi Faus has stressed the importance of regulating, through a Protective Order, the confidentiality terms and conditions that will apply to documents and information that either party may bring to the arbitration process, a possibility contemplated under article 22 of the ICC Rules of Arbitration. Jordi Faus also referred to the need of duly motivating any requests for confidentiality.
