Faus & Moliner participates at the Meeting organized by the Group RI&MA Institutional Relations and Market Access

In 2015, there have been new significant developments in legislation concerning prices and reimbursement of medicines. Among these, we can higlight two judgments of the Court of Justice of the European Union, which interpret Directive 89/105, a Supreme Court judgment on the interchangeability of products that belong to the same homogenous group; and another one that annulls Additional Provision Two of Royal Decree 177/2014.

Moreover, the Law on Guarantees has been amended liberalizing discounts for purchase volume; and there has been intense work carried out regarding the draft Royal Decree on financing and prices of medicinal products.

Jordi Faus addressed these issues during his presentation in this Meeting organized by the RI&MA Group Institutional Relations and Market Access, where he shared a table with Jesús García Herrero, Head of Department of the Subdirectorate General for the Quality of Medicinal Products and Medical Devices.
